The i3+ EVO and its i3 EVO sibling the i3 EVO are both identical robots, but they differ in that the i3+ has self-emptying capabilities. This makes the i3+ a good choice for people who want an entirely automated, hands-free cleaning experience but don't mind manually emptying their robot's dustbin when it fills up.
Both robots are good at picking up surface dirt on floors and carpets and are able to maneuver around furniture and other obstacles. iAdapt navigation software creates a smart maps of your home that aid the i3+ in its navigation and clean efficiently. However unlike the i7+ or other top-rated robots that we test the i3+ does not have obstacle-avoidance capabilities which means it can get stuck on things such as socks or power cords and it may have trouble in navigating through transitions between surfaces, such as from hardwood to carpet.
iRobot recommends clearing areas where the i3+ EVO will vacuum before you use it, and include clearing out any toys or clutter it might encounter. It's also a good idea to keep the bin and filter clean so they don't become clogged with dirt. When the i3+ EVO's internal bin is empty or the battery is depleted, it returns to the docking station, and it automatically empties the dirt into the station’s external dustbin. Then it continues cleaning from where it began. The i3+ EVO's battery lasts for approximately an hour and a half continuous use. It takes about three hours to fully recharge.
2. IRobot Roomba i7+
The iRobot Roomba i7+ is the top model of the flagship line from iRobot, and it is equipped with the most recent features. It has self-charging and self-navigating. But the most important feature is its auto-emptying bin. This will eliminate the need for routine maintenance.
The Roomba i7+ can remember up to 10 floor plans and their names thanks to Imprint Smart Mapping, a system that lets it identify rooms to clean them more efficiently. It also works with iRobot Home to schedule cleaning tasks, and it can control your robot through the app or voice.
In our testing the i7+ performed faster and more maneuverable than our top choice which was the eufy RoboVac G30, and it removed large chunks of pet hair from all surface kinds, including carpeting. The biggest benefit over the eufy, though it self-empties its dust bin, which removes a major source of maintenance and reduces the cost of maintenance.
We were also amazed by the i7+'s compatibility Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant AI services which we used to instruct the robot to begin, stop or pause its cleaning sessions and to move around the room and vacuum an area. The process of connecting the i7+ to these services was easy and straightforward through the iRobot Home app. After being connected, to give voice commands to the i7+, for example "Hey Alexa vacuum the master bedroom." The iRobot Home App also offers options for managing i7+ settings and monitoring the performance.

It's also more expensive than other models we've tested and this could be a deal breaker for some buyers.
The smart vacuum has an onboard camera that can be accessed via the app. You can also set up a live stream from the robot's cleaning station. This feature lets you monitor your pets or the kids if you're away from home. The dustbin and the filter can be washed for the quick and easy cleaning. The Jet Bot AI+ comes with a self-emptying clean station, which helps keep the robot's bin clear and optimizes suction power.

The app also makes it easy to manually steer the robot should you need to. My living room rug, for instance, has a darkly-colored border that can trip up some other robots. However the HRV 425BL kept moving across the border, without registering it as an incline. The ability to set up weekly cleaning schedules is a great time-saving convenience.
